About Eagle Species
Eagles are powerful predators and important cultural and societal symbols, There are nearly 70 eagle species in the world.
Despite the strength and intelligence of these birds, eagles are also exceptionally vulnerable to different risks that raptors face because of their long reproductive cycles and slow population growth. Over half of all species of eagles – are considered Critically Endangered (CE), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), or Near Threatened (NT).
